Pes Magnus is Latin for "Big Foot."  He has that name for obvious reasons: four of them ... four very large feet. 

Furkifur is Latin for "Scoundrel."  As a little kitten, Furkifur was wild but now he's a very affectionate lapcat.

Smoke, their dad, was a big cat with big feet and a big heart. 

The boys are hefty: they each weigh in at eleven pounds, eight ounces. 

Their mom, Merryl, is petite -- barely eight pounds.

Furkifur has a golden tint to his coat while Pes Magnus is silvery.  Or, you might say: caramel and licorice. 

Pes Magnus is wearing the black and white collar; Furkifur the tiger-stripe collar. 

Dr. Osawa, of the North Park Pet Hospital (619-278-0000) "fixed" the brothers.

Dr. Osawa is a good vet.

Pes Magnus has stripes.

Furkifur has spots.

These beautiful brothers are inseparable.

Pes Magnus is a mighty hunter and keeps the house free of mice.
